Looking for a holiday craft to do with the kids on a cold winter day? This project is loads of fun and so easy to do. These colorful pompom trees are a great way to add some holiday cheer to your home décor over the holidays and make wonderful handmade gifts for relatives! And with a little help from Mom or Dad, it’s a good creative activity for any age!
You’ll need a few pieces of colored felt, plus an assortment of brightly colored pompoms. We used traditional green felt for the tree, but be creative…you can use any color you want!
Simply cut out four or five circles of felt from large to small. I started my biggest circle with a 9 cm diameter.
Starting with the largest felt circle, glue some brightly coloured pompoms down. With each circle of felt glue down more pompoms. Keep adding another layer until you have reached the top of the tree! That’s it!
